Jurubeba

Jurubeba (Solanum paniculatum) is indigenous to Brazil as well as Paraguay and Argentina.

It is a small tree that grows up to 3 meter high and produces small yellow fruit and lilac or white flowers. The plant has heart-shaped leaves that are smooth on top and fuzzy underneath. Both male and female jurubeba trees exist; the female grows slightly taller, has larger leaves, and bears fruit. The leaves and roots are used in Brazilian medicine these days as a tonic to improve digestion and to relieve stomachache.
Jurubeba tea is a very common household remedy throughout Brazil. It helps to tone, balance and strengthen the liver from overeating and too much alcohol.
Effects
This herb is great for digestion, stomachaches, and as a liver tonic (especially when alcohol is overused).
Usage
Jurubeba is best consumed as a tea. Find out for yourself how strong you like it, and how much you need as this varies from person to person. Take some after a night of excessive alcohol consumption, or before or after a meal that is difficult to digest. The herb takes action immediately - the bloating and the lump in your stomach should disappear within no-time.
Warning
Not recommended if nursing or pregnant.

“I've only ever been able to use this once (I naturally have a strong stomach/immune system and rarely get sick) but the effects are remarkable! I felt perfect a few minutes after drinking a large-ish cup of tea (let the herb soak for 10 mins in hot water).
I really want to get a bad stomach so I can test it again!
Try it!
